Local boat ramp on a Sunday morning.I mean, where else can you find free comedy relief?
Why would it possibly bother you if someone else’s car has snow piled on it? I cannot figure this one out. Around here, if you don’t need THAT car on THAT day, the sun and rising temperature will take that snow off for you in a day or two.
What did I miss? Why would this even register in your mind?
"Peeve" is singular.
Just sayin'.
Two front plate cows chewing the cud, blocking the isle while I'm shopping and trying to get home ASAP!
My peeves are screaming kids in public places and people who let their dogs bark incessantly.
What are the upsides of either of those behaviors?
You’re probably right. I, too, hate my grammar to be corrected on the internet!
I believe John Locke was first. Deterrence theory has NOTbeen regularly debunked over the years . . .
I clear the snow off my windshield then drive fast. The rest comes off.
There was a time my wife and family drove to see my parents for Christmas. We got six inches of snow the night before we headed out. I cleared the windows before leaving but left the hood, roof and trunk snow covered. By the time I got out of the neighborhood, the hood was clear. When I got to the state route, another driver started tailgating me. I started speeding up but he stayed right on my butt. Then the snow from my roof lifted and fell in his hood and windshield. It looked like a mattress had fallen on his car. I understand it is a pet peeve for some of you but I couldn't stop laughing.
