I pay $60 per year and $18 tax + fees or $6.50 month. I call the wk before expire and say I will renew at the same rate, since 2008 they've always said yes.

I picked up my new car 3 weeks ago. It came with a 3 month free Sirius subscription. I have subscribed to Sirius now for about 14 years but hate playing the game of threatening to cancel every 3 months in order to get a better rate.

Well, they have sent me a letter regarding the new car and have already started to call me about renewing the subscription. I realize that their Indian call center is in a different time zone, but I've only had the car 3 weeks, not 3 months !

you are aware that you can negotiate the annual fee down to about $25? It's pretty nice if you do any traveling. They always send you a notice 1-2 months ahead of time for renewal. Just wait till less than a week before renewal date, and call and tell them to drop it. They will do about anything to keep you from dropping it. It's pretty cheap entertainment on the road.

I've been driving cross country every few years since about 1979. Andover or East Sandwich, MA to Las Vegas or LA or SF via Rte 80 or 95 down to Jacksonville & Rte 10 or middle of the country Rte 40. When I started it was all local AM/FM radio only and I kind of like it that way.

I think I've learned more about cows and alfalfa and irrigation and farming, listened to all sorts of religious programs and local "I got this tractor for sale" swap shows by tuning into those radio stations than I'd ever imagined. Ended up at the 1st Cajun music show in Lafayette in 1979 - would have missed that had I been tuned in to something like Sirius. Found all sorts of local diners instead of McDonalds and such. Being able to take my time helps alot too.

Am doing it again this September. Trying to figure out if I want to go south for the food, like Sweatmans bbq in SC, or north and hit Brownells, Simpsons, Cabelas and Montego Bay in Wendover.

I agree spoofing should be illegal but when I was researching it on line I found an App that I could download and spoof numbers myself

Uh...can you provide a link to that app. Asking for a friend.
