Photobucket doesn't work for me, either, but I can at least retrieve pictures on there back into my downloads in my computer. Go to one of your pics and click on it making it bigger like you used to do. Then right click on the enlarged picture. Then left click "save picture as...". Then hit "SAVE". It now should download back to you.
I'm a computer idiot and this might be useful for those of you who know as little as I do. good luck.

You can easily download all the pictures you have uploaded to Photobucket as a single Zip file containing all of them. Instructions are given on Photobucket.

Yeah. I believe when you go into an album, to the right there's an option that says, "Download Album." As DWalt said, all the album images download in a single Zip file. You right-click on the downloaded file and select "extract."

I just logged into my PhotoBummer account for the first time in quite a while.

It is still the slowest, most scripted, ad-filled site on the Web that I know of.

I downloaded all my photos to make sure I don't lose any I didn't already have copies of, and now they can go hang as far as I'm concerned.

It started out as a great service, then they kept piling on more and more ads and scripts and STUFF until the site got so slow it was excruciatingly painful to use.

Now they want to extort money out of the users too? For what? The frustrating privilege of seeing all the ads, popups, etc? NO THANKS.

I predict it will be out of business in less than a year.

I downloaded all my stuff and unzipped and reloaded to Imagur.

The heck with phonysuckett.

I am trying to download my pictures in one file and can't figure it out.

I don't read very fast so maybe if you type real slow I could figure it out.

I can't find instructions on Photobucket. I Don't see anything to click on about downloading.

Could anyone explain it so a slow old guy can figure it out?

Won't download my albums. Does it matter if they are marked "private"?

No, it doesn't matter. My albums were all set to private.

For Wingmaster: To download an album - as I remember - you'll be on a page that has thumbnails of all the photos in the album. In the right hand column of that page, you're looking for a link that says, "Download album." You might have to scroll down a bit to see it.

I've deleted my account on Photobucket, so I can't get back in there to give you exact instructions. Sorry!

Ummm?

All my pics on PB came off my computer so I already have the LARGE file original.?

Some folks actually had their only copy on an outside source:confused:

What will all the smart phone people do when the "Cloud" turns to rain and then the Sun comes out??;)

Tried to download as albums but kept getting error messages.
Had to save them all individually.
I have a Smug Mug account that I will be using more often now.

Same thing happened to me. I can download individually but not as an album. Wouldn't work on my Dell or my HP computer. Wouldn't work using Chrome or Internet Explorer.

But they are all downloaded now.

So I'm not the only Luddite who has a problem with the Cloud concept. My idea of remote storage is a Passport drive out in my gunsafe or safe deposit box.
