Oh, does that one resonate, but the one I REALLY hate is:
"Sir, that's not the way it works".
This is usually uttered by somebody who (for sure) does not know how it works. Other users are the brain donors from collection agencies who have been given the wrong information and are beginning to get frustrated and baffled because I am not intimidated when they call. The fact that they are wrong is an inadmissible concept to them that can be dealt with by saying, "Sir, that is not the way it works". Guess what, that's not the way it works when you speak to me.
