Picked up a CS 9 today

In case anybody wants to look into it, there is a CS 9 at the LGS or at least listed on their database of used guns for sale - $399.

I don't have any interest in the store, but they are the largest locally-owned GS in the area. Their list is usually kept up to date, but you never know:

Smith & Wesson CS9, 9mm, 3" BBL,Stainless

I have picked up four or five different holsters for my CS9. My favorite is a Don Hume JIT slide No. 30. It is actually for a Sig 228 but it fits the CS9 like it was made for it. It holds the gun against my hip without digging into my side.

I can carry all day with it - it's so comfortable I left the gun in it when I got home last night.

BTW: the CS9 is an excellent gun. Shoot it a lot - you'll find it is an under-rated gun. It's getting more carry than my Glock 26 these days.

Thanks for the tip re: the Don Hume. I finally found one online and bought it. You're quite right about the CS 9, too. I haven't been this impressed by a pistol in a long time.

RATS.... :(

It's gone now. Wish I'd have seen this sooner.

As I mentioned in a previous thread on the CS9, I have a holster made by Akers that I like a lot. They've stopped making them, but you can find them from time to time on the Internet.

Looks just like mine except I have the Big Dog grips. Had 3, sold 2 others. Will hang on to this one.
