Picked up My Winchester Model 70 Today!

Its been a long 2 weeks to wait... My 10 Business days have passed. Picked up my Model 70 this morning.
Gave it a clean up, and here are some pictures. Details... Pre War, Made in 1941, caliber .270 Winchester.
And, Stith Mount, with a Weaver 330 Scope. Scope has post with crosshair reticle. Cant wait to shoot it! Deer season just around the corner..

Very NICE! Scope is a version of ones on US mdl 1903A-4 sniper rifles.

Had one just like that years ago, but in 30-06. Mine was late 30s production. Wish I'd never sold it.

That's sweet. I'd have a hard time not upgrading that scope if were actually going to hunt with it, but I also understand the desire to leave it as-is.
