EDIT: Looking for DOB help. It is a model 60-3 and the serial number is BNE2686. Thanks for any info you can provide.

SAw this at the local pawnshop this morning. I ran home got one of my guitars I don't play much and went back and made a trade. Its a Model 66-3 with a RB frame and a 2.5" barrel that has been Magna-Ported. I assume the porting is not factory but you guys would know better.

I don't really like the Pachmeyer grips so those will more than likely go. The timing and lockup are good and I am very happy with the accuracy from this 2.5 incher. I expected less but am quite satisfied. Now to get some leather for it and I'll have a new carry option.

Thanks,
Chris Stokes

Good trade.

so is the porting aftermarket? If this was some factory special I am sure someone here knows.

diamond_c... I actually like them a lot. there ugly, but my hands fit them great. Its making it really hard to drop the cash for new wood when I could spend the money on 357 reloading components instead.

Oh what is a poor man to do?

2.5 inch Model 66 -- sweetest music this side of a funeral. Good deal.

I agree, aftermarket porting, very nicely done too.

Congrats! Regards 18DAI.

thanks for the info rjrivero. I'll check out there website.

I know you guys get this question a lot but was curious if someone could give me an idea of the date of manufacture. It is a model 60-3 and the serial number is BNE2686. Thanks for any info.
