I've seen where some have posted for new pup names. We are driving to Spokane next Thursday to pick up our two new aussie pups, on a female the other a male, brother and sis. The female already has a name, Kakie. A nick name of my wife when she was a kid.

Was going to name the male Boone after my wifes dad's name but not sure about that. He may not like it, he dosen't like dogs so having a dog named after him might be a bad move.

Any suggestion??? He sure looks tough so no wimpy name.

I currently have three aussie dogs, Ruger, Wrangler and Foxie.

Well, if the Female is named after your wife's Nickname as a Kid

Shouldn't you at least Consider naming the Male after Your Nickname as a Kid?

Well if the first one is Kakie..

Which sounds like Khaki,a brown cloth used for clothing, particularly the military,Other fabrics come to mind...
I have changed the text color on my favorites to red because it is first on this list that I have "borrowed" from WIKI

I had a lot of fun with this and learned loads about the enhanced reply box. Thank you for the opportunity to give you more choices than you ever wanted!!!

I'm gonna name my next one Stay.

Here Stay, come Stay, sit Stay. Doggie prozac for this one. :D

My 2 are named Barney and Squirt.

I like Sooner, too.

Ain't you the guy whos dog burned his butt on the space heater?
Name the new one Asbestos.

I usually go with a variation of the dogs color, the last one was Saffron a yellow lab. Shedder is what the other half calls them.

Bernard or Bernie (for Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery, who fielded and marshalled troops of the British Commonwealth during WW II and had a special affection for the Australian divisions (for their independent spirit and toughness).

Joe,
Those sure are some nice looking pups regardless
what you name them.
How about from the movie "The Jerk" with Steve
Martin. Can't say it here but most know.

Chuck
