Dixie

Good finish to the saga Faulkner. You helped take a burden from your friend's widow; Daisy and Dixie got to reunite for a while and looks like they had a big time; you were able to find a good forever home for Dixie with a family that will care for her as much as her original family. It's all good.

I feel like I've been along for the ride right along with you and your family the past week.

Having a bit of a problem here even though there is snow falling from the sky there seems to be a dust cloud here in the 'puter room. My eyes are getting all teared up for some reason. You know how it is that you can't see the dust from inside the cloud, so I'm guessing that is the reason. You're a good man Mr, Faulkner and you deserve a huge gold star for your kindness and love. Sixty miles isn't so far away.

Just want to say I am seriously impressed by everyone involved. Every single person has been after one thing: what's right for Dixie. As it should be. One more reason I am proud to be associated with the members here. Just plain good people.

lihpster, you go spreading rumors like that about me and we is gonna have ta have us a serious conversation. I've worked right hard on this here reputation of be'n unkind, uncaring, an meaner'n rattlesnake on a diet of carpet tacks. Do'n you go a spoil'n it none. :D :D :D

I agree, and I suppose more people handle similar situations accordingly, but those don’t often get reported. It’s the “things gone bad” situations that get the headlines.

I like Faulkner’s feel good stories
