Picking up new pups next week...any name suggestions?

Aloha,

I say keep them for a while and see how they act. Then name them.

All our dogs sort of named themselves after we got them home and

studied their actions/reactions.

Duke, Lady and Foxy. Each one's actions, their personalities, way they

did things gave us their names.

Just told my wife about posting this for name suggestions...she doesn't like Dingo nor Colt. She want Merill. Both pups are Blue Merle Australian Shepard's and sticking to the country theme she wants Merill for Merill Haggard. (not sure I spelled Merill right or not.)

Maybe I'll take the advice someone gave of just opening up the door and calling a name...if he comes ok...if not try again..and again until the right name works.:D

Thanks again everyone for your input..much appreciated.

How about "Hey you" and "damnit". You will be saying that a lot anyways housebreaking them, might as well get them to answer to it.

How about Rhodie and Bill. My granddad had a brother and sister hunting pair that accounted for hundreds of quail here in the south many, many years ago when there was a plenitude of birds. I have his brothers old double barrel 12 guage bird gun.
