Still looking for some 3d models, 357s and 38/44 Outdoorsman in the serial number range.
Bill

Bill,

I went through all my records and pictures of HD's and 44s and the closest I came was a 44 S67XXX All Post war Transitionals. I generally havent been interested in anything any later than that :(.

Sorry Dan

Bill:

I went through my list and I have three transitional OD's: S703XX, S705XX, S714XX and one transitional HD S659XX. My N frame SN's then jump to S785XX (a 1950 OD). I think that all of the transitional 357's were in the S70XXX to S71XXX range. I have nothing in the range that you have requested...:(

Someplace around here I have a .44 HE3rd Early Postwar... No photos at this point, but my records indicte it PREDATES the serial range you're looking at.... if it's of interest, let me know and I'll see if I can dig it out, take some snaps and put them up.

Drew

Thanks Drew, but I'm trying to see if there are any out there in the serial number range except good old Heavy Duties

Bill:

I have ten long-action ODs in the S71000 range and photos of several others but not a single gun of any kind in the range you are interested in !
Interesting !

Jerry

Jerry,
I was hoping you might have some ODs in that serial number range. Things may be coming clearer as what was going on at S&W during that time frame.
Thanks,
Bill
