Pics of your other .22's

Side note, does it bother anyone else to see pictures of guns with the safties off? Hopefully and most likely they are unloaded, but seeing that sets off a red flag in my brain.

why?

my 2 9mm's dont have manual safeties and the one on my 1911 .22 never gets used. most of the time i only use my 15-22 safety when passing the gun off to other shooters.

i use the most important safety i have, my brain, when handling guns. the only way they're going to fire is if the trigger gets pulled so i just dont pull it. ;)

Not me. I've never, ever used safeties on guns. Just something to forget to take off before using, to my mind. I know the loading status of my guns at any given moment, so have no need of them. My self defense guns don't have them at all (would never buy one that did), and some, like my Kimber .45, require specific states (cocked, in that case). Nope, no need for them (for me).

I have quite a few .22's other than the 15-22 some of the favorite ones are a S&W 41 (1980 vintage) a S&W 17-4 (1977 vintage) and a Browning Model 52 Sporter (Only 5000 Made in early 90's Mine has a 2 digit serial #)

My hands down favorite rimfire rifles are my Kimber 82 of Oregon and Kimber Hunter KoA Yonkers. Handgun would hae to be S&W 17-8 10rd alloy.

I reach in to get it and my hand comes out holding the 15-22 :)

Nope. I don't mind it a bit. Firearm safety is about more than that little piece of plastic or metal on the side of the gun.

I have a Sig Sauer 1911-22. I really like this gun. Similar to my Kimber, but cheaper to shoot. Added a stainless full length guide rod and spring, removed the mag safety, re-did the magwell housing, replaced the safety with my Kimber's parts bin, and refinished the grips.
Turned out really good imo, not in the same way as my kimber, but it's only a fraction of the cost.

I love the way the grips turned out!

^sweet sig! i just ran another 200 rds through mine yesterday with my new dawson fiber optic front sight and loved it. im down to about 1.5-2" groups at 7 yds. now it has me buying a 9mm 1911. :D

After my 15-22, I love my Buckmark Camper with a Burris Fastfire II. It's a 5.5" barrel in this picture, but the barrel is out right now, being cut to 4", recrowned and threaded so I can mount a can.

Yeah, it's a pretty sweet handgun for $370 new. I shot ~300 rounds through it today, along with ~400 on the 15-22, and 100 through the Kimber. I usually stay within the 21' range too with the 1911-22 and Kimber.45. It's hard for me to stay consistent with both guns. I'd rather be proficient at the Kimber, and play around with the 1911-22, than try to become proficient at both. My mind just doesn't seem to be up to the task when alternating rounds from .45 to .22. It's not that I can't shoot it well, but when I do, I notice that I lose it a bit on the .45. Then, when I focus back on the shooting style of the .45, I lose it a bit on the 1911-22. But generally, the Sig 1911-22 is pretty darn accurate when I try, or when I eventually run out of .45 ammo:D

hadnt thought about that, it'll be interesting to see how it compares to the 9mm 1911 im buying. i plan on setting them up as close as possible for practice purposes. i paid $399 with a free 2nd mag and the od color i wanted, cant beat that!

A couple of Rugers. The MkIII is only a couple of months old. I've had the 10/22 for a couple of years now.
