The sun came out in between thunderstorms this weekend and I was able to get out and get a few pictures before the next round of inclement weather hits. No doubt, the rain and warmer weather has blooms seemingly popping out overnight.

A female cardinal blends right in with this blooming crabapple tree.

This honey bee is loaded down with pollen and seems to be pigging out for more.

My peach trees are in full bloom and sound all a buzz with the honey bees all over them.

Are you visiting or staying? Whichever it is you are arriving just in time for spring. With the very mild winter I just hope we don't go from winter to summer with only a two week layover in spring.

yes it has!

I am in the Missouri Ozarks and noticed these strange plants coming up in my yard. I'm ready for spring anytime.:p
Peace,
Gordon

We were visiting friends and spent Monday at the visitors center at Bull Shoals dam and lunch overlooking people fishing from Jon boats. We're back in Iowa now and it's cold here..but sunny.

I'm just over the river in IL, and we have had some very nice 60's and 70's weather, but it is supposed to get back down in the 30's again by Thurs night, and there was that (4 letter word) "snow" mentioned as a possibility this weekend. At least I was able to get my new AR with a Vortex scope sighted in this week.
