Last week I asked a question about the value of a Luger that my barber brought back from Italy in 1945. It was plated in Europe before 1945. He doesn't know any history. It's not for sale. He's giving it to his son. The value really doesn't matter. He's just curious.

Not sure of value but it's a nice keep sake. my dad left me a 7.7 jap he brought home from the pacific.
 
Well, looks like someone took their time and did that right. As was posted before, there are no records of factory nickel, but I'm sure there were presentation Lugers made. That is one pretty Luger.
 
Screw the value, that just looks nice and the sentimental value outweighs it anyway.
