pinned Front sight for 686-3

Have a 4 inch 686 that i picked up that some one replaced the sight with a pinned sight and i would like to replace it what size do i need any options would be helpful thanks

Lots of 686s had pinned front sights. Height would depend on what the rear blade is.. Shoot it and if it shoots fine then measure the front and get something close to that height. If the rear is bottomed out or set real high you want to get a front sight that woulds let you put the rear in the middle somewhere so you would have some adjustment up and down. Dawson fiber optic with the right width would be my choice.

I've seen a couple with pinned front sights, I would research it before replacing.
