Was impressed with 2 things here and not surprised by another:

Pizza delivery woman survived assault because (1) she had her own firearm, defended her life (and pizza) and (2) still retains employment by Papa John's Pizza. Unlike some other hi profile eateries and/or businesses that have fired their employees when they defended themselves or the company's goods/employees.
Papa John Pizza stands by employee who shot armed robber in self defense | Fox News.

Not surprised I couldn't find this on MSN.

Will be supportive of Papa John's on my next trip to the big city. :)

Dear Liam Neeson, Pizza, it's what's for dinner. We clearly have too much expleting pizza in America, too. We're so dependent on it, we pay people to bring it to us. :D

What Are You Eating?

In certain parts of Brooklyn NY, get caught robbing pizza people and they make sausage out of you, or, at least, what's left of you.

Last weekend, a 61 year old pizza deliverer was ambushed and killed by a 17 year old. Hopefully, he will be tried as an adult - and if convicted face the needle.

'Tombstone' frozen pizza isn't all bad... it beats a deliverer getting his own tombstone, that's for sure. Good going, pizza delivery gal!

Papa Johns is a favorite in my book. They are now Nr one.

I used to work for Godfather's Pizza and Pizza Hut both--when I was much younger. Rod Carstensen who owned Godfathers--would standby you no matter what and even encouraged delivery folks to carry. I used to carry a nine-shot twenty two. under the seat in my car.My brother--went to delive in a known bad neighborhood--got assaulted by four punks--pizza stolen but cash was left in car and not touched. The neighborhood he delivered in--no longer gets pizza delivery after 5 pm.

I never had any probs myself--but others did.

I saw that last night profiled by Judge Jeanine Pirro--only it wasnt his rant on pizza. As of last night--im no longer a supporter of anything Liam Neesen.

Agreed and I always liked his stuff for entertaining shoot-um ups. That's the irony about his stupid statement, all his movies are violent gun movies.

Wish Hollywood would learn to keep their traps shut, it's cutting into my movie choices.

Dude ....
this statement has me feeling a deep bout of pity for you.
You really need to engineer a calzone and understand the error of your DiGiorno ways.

Heh heh, does anyone know if Grimaldies SP? has Calzones? I just got reminded last night that we do have one here in town. Also have a Russos--but that place wasnt very good last time Sarge and I ate there.

Same here. Id still like to see Tom Hanks and such but---they just cant keep their opinions to themselves-so--they will no longer get any money fromme. Imalso resisting watching: The Pacific--because of Hanks and what he said about the Marines.

Good thing is--is there are thousands of older movies out there that I havent seen or even heard of--but will be watching as I get them orsee thom on TCM and such. If today were not a holiday? my order containing: The Password is Courage, Pillars of the Sky, Retreat Hell and another--would be in and id be watching them starting tonight.

Not to steal the thread, but other tradesman are having to resort to carrying handguns.

A few months ago, an HVAC repairman was working on an AC/Heat Pump unit in the not so good part of town. He was assaulted, robbed and beaten up. Several of my friends who service & repair AC/Heat Pump units, now have handguns in their tool bags or pockets. Of the ones I've talked to, .380 is the caliber of choice.
