I'm helping a friend value some guns he inherited and I am not up on values of older wheel guns.

The first is a Pre-17 dating to around 1948

The second, 22/32 Heavy Target Frame dates to around 1923?

I'd more or less agree. At a gun show, the K-22 would probably be tagged at $700-$750 but that would allow room for some downward price negotiation. Likewise the .22/.32 HFT would be priced around $450-$500. In somewhat better condition the price of the HFT would escalate rapidly but in its existing condition it is just a shooter, not a collectible. Those are for sales to an individual. Keep in mind that if he attempted to sell these to a gun dealer or pawnshop, you might get an offer of half those prices.

I think Alan just about hit the nail on the head. I picked up a 48 K22 in 2013 for 650 in much better condition but they have gone up quite a bit.
As for the 22/32, I picked one up in similar condition to what I see here in October for 500. I always say if you're pricing, always price a bit high and be willing to come down some.
