Please help with % grading Python grips

Please give me your input on what you would grade (1% - 100%) the attached pictured Python grips. I recently purchased these on Etay and am in disagreement with seller as to condition. The 1st two pictures are the sellers auction photos and the three close up pictures I took to show what I didn't see in pictures until I received them. Also, please share what you would value these grips if you were considering buying.
Here is seller's auction description-----
"Magnificant. Condition is "Used". As removed from Colt Python during the paychmyer craze by my gunsmith father and stored away. They are 99% perfect a handling mark bottom left grip- these have not been touched up with with polish, wood filler or furniture grease pencil"
Purchased for $150.00 plus shipping and taxes totaling $169.00.
I really want to be fair with this seller and everyone's evaluation will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Ray

Frankly, that price was too good to be true for 99% Python 3rd gen grips. Those would go for 300 to 400. That, plus the terrible pictures should have raised some questions on your side.

You probably got what you paid for on these, although I agree, they are not anywhere close to 99%.

You could probably throw them on gunbroker on a penny/no reserve auction and get more than you paid. The prices for all things Python are through the roof.

I bought a second Gen Pair of grips that look better for $100. There is an American company that makes replacement grips for Pythons that mirror Gen 1 thru 3 for around $200+

Having carried a Python as my "duty weapon" in the early '70s, I can attest to it's accuracy and highest quality.
I sold it after I retired.
Its accuracy and function NEVER failed me when used in fire fights.
After retiring, I sold it to help buy our retirement home.
This revolver was awesome as a "duty weapon".

IMHO you basically got what you paid for. If they were as represented, you would have gotten quite a bargain. If you want a refund, I would not blame you. I think you have confirmed your assessment here; they are not as the written description suggests, and the visual representation is terrible.
Have you contacted the seller? eBay almost forces sellers to provide a 'return policy', so check to see what options the seller had in the listing for a return.

I just purchased a set from cdnnsports the python grips are suppose to fit my colt Officers target 22 revolver I frame. I have a few sets of colt grips that didn't fit.
