I was using villagephotos however they've been down for a couple of weeks now and who knows if they'll bring back the old.villagephotos portion that I used.

What are some good alternatives? I don't need a ton of storage space and free is the primary concern.

Thank you for any info.

Webshots.com and Photobucket.com come to mind. I've used both with minor problems - photobucket seems to be down much more than webshots for what that is worth.

Good luck.

I've used Photobucket since I joined the forum. If you plan on storing a number of photos, I suggest setting up sub-albums for each gun. It's a lot faster than scrolling thru multiple pages of photos to find the one you want.

I use Picasa (free download from Google, and VERY user-friendly) on my PC's, and like Photobucket enough to pay for the ad-free service. I use it a lot, it's only $20 or less a year, and I have several thousand photos stored there, even a few videos. I think it's worth it, and it's easy to use.

Flickr but what ever you do, back up photos on at least three hard drives. My photos are backed up on one computer and two external spots, one a 1TB external drive.

And don't forget to watermark your photos with a copyright mark.
