PMC .45acp

I carry PMC in a M&P FS 40 and it works for me. I found it on sale a few years ago and bought all they had.

I’m considering getting some PMC “Bronze” .45acp ammunition. It is less expensive than most I’ve seen, I’ll use it for plinking, is anyone familiar with this brand? Thanks

To be on the safe side here, why don't you send it all to me for testing, I promise to send you a range report as soon as I'm done.

It's good to go, used it by the case without issues except for once but that was the magazine that caused the problem.

I rarely buy factory ammo unless I just bought a gun with a new caliber.

This thread jogged my memory since I had some old ammo boxes from eons ago. The boxes were 9 mm Luger and I'm guessing they were from about 1980, give or take.

"PMC, Republic of Korea"
"Distributed by PMC, Patton and Morgan Corp, NY, NY 10022"

FWIW, Pan Metals has the worlds Largest vertical turret lathe, 100 meter table, think about that for a minute… Used to turn housings for nuke reactor buildings..

most large castings and machined parts come out of S Korea.

Most products made in S. Korea are of very high quality.

Most of out semiconductors were made there until some brain decided to buy from China instead. Funny thing is, China probably "borrowed" the design for those chips from S. Korea anyway.

PMC is good ammo and I still have a few boxes on my shelves. I've used their ammo in 45 Colt, 45-70 and 38 Spl. - never any issues. Don't care for their boxes much as they are very thin and crush easily - but that might have changed after I bought what I have. The few boxes I have left are a decade old.

Thanks for the replies, I bought some Perfecta .38 spcl (low end Fiocchi?) and to me they seem weak and inconsistent, so I thought I’d ask about the PMC before buying.

I shoots LOTS of PMC Bronze ammo in 3 calibers, and I have no issues whatsoever. Note: the primers are very hard.

I am another satisfied customer of PMC ammo. Always high quality, accurate and reliable. I have used it through many of the various names over the years.... Patton Morgan Corporation, Pan Metal Corporation, Precision Metals Corporation (or manufacturing I can't remember).... I buy it when I see it and I haven't seen it for a while.

I’ve shot a bunch of PMC .45 ammo in about a dozen different 1911’s, a 1928 and a M-1 Thompson SMG, and in a Reising SMG. Worked great in all of them.

PMC makes good stuff. They live in a rough neighborhood.

PMC has always been reliable, good ammunition. I’ve shot it for many years in 9mm, 45 acp, and I always look for PMC brass at the range to reload. Much better than some fired brass.
