Pocket flashlights

I’m a huge O-Light fan and have just about every flashlight and lantern they make. And I have yet to break one of them.

From a keychain light to the Marauder (granted, this one ain’t a pocket light) …..

I like Streamlight products. When I was still working, I carried a Stylus model in my shirt pocket everyday.
Now that I'm retired, there's a Microstream clipped inside my left pants pocket all the time.
Surprisingly good light to be as small as they are. ;)

I carried a Fenix RC05SE every night for my last three years working.

Fenix RC05 SE Rechargeable Flashlight - Fenix Lighting

It's 4 inches long, .75 inches OD and 450 lumens. It has a built in recharger that uses a USB cord so you can recharge it almost anywhere. I've had it for six years and haven't had to replace the battery. Fenix says the battery is good for 500 recharging cycles and it has a 5 year repair Warranty

I actually sent a Fenix Light in for warranty repair once. I had it back within a week and the light they sent was an upgrade.

FWIW I did a "survey" of every cop I ran into at work for a month or so (CSPD,EPCSO and UCCS campus cops) every single one of them carried some kind of Surefire. I thought that was significant until I found out the only Police Supply store in town only carries Surefire products.

I’ve always been a Maglight fan. I have a half dozen of them. I keep a 3 Dcell in my truck and one at front door to my cabin. I have several AA versions including a camo finish unit I carry in belt sheath hunting. I’ve converted all the older ones to LED. There are brighter lights that cost less but they’re American and warranty/custom service is great. All that said I recently discovered these at Harbor Freight for $6. They are 85 Lumen but seem much brighter. Pocket clip is very handy too.

I am a Maglight fan also. I got in the habit of carrying a light
and a clip knife everywhere I go from police and security work.
Around the house I've started to place rechargeables with
the 18650 batteries. Always one within reach and excellent
candlepower.

I bought one of the Fenix RCO5SE at the gun show several years ago. It's still going strong and gets a lot of use. I wonder why they discontinued it?
