Over 3000 rounds fired through my EDC BG380. The first 300-500 rounds, less than dependable firing pin strikes. Rounds 500-3000 ... running like a S&W. I trust my life with it, it fires every time.

My 2 cents other than your poll ... Break it in well with live fire, not dry fire, with at least 500 rounds of various ammo. I would do this with any EDC weapon. I bet you will find ammo than gets along great with your BG380. Keep it cleaned and lightly oiled
Exactly mine has 2k rounds trouble free. The magazines got dirty and the follower would not lock open the slide on last shot when empty, but other than that....good so far

Mine has about 1500 rounds through it without any problems. In fact, I can't even remember any type of failure at all. Remember to keep all of the stuff you read on forums in context. You can learn a lot here but you have to remember that most of the information, like this poll, is anecdotal in nature. (That dosen't mean it's not fun!)

Bengalsfan59, I don't have any experience with that laser system so I have no idea how it works but do you think that might be what is causing your problem? Perhaps it dosen't cushion the blow enough like a primer would do and the pin is beating itself to death?

I haven't owned one, but I've rented one and found that it would regularly fail to detonate primers. Every magazine you'd have at least one round (sometimes two) that took 2 or 3 strikes to fire. TTAG did a review of it as well and his gun likewise had difficulty with light primer strikes on a particular ammo brand; ironically, his gun worked perfectly with the ammo that was causing my rental to fail.

Nearly 1000 rounds of completely reliable Hornady American Gunner. Carry this little gem in a DeSantis Nemisis holster.:)
