Poll, were we all to rough on ChadW for posting about post count?

I'm beginning to think that maybe we were all kind of rough on our friend ChadW for posting about folks posting excessively while welcoming new members. He has not posted sense. I don't think he meant harm the way some of us may have taken it so I thought I'd post a poll to see where we all stand on this. We all have to admit his post about posting did bring us all some fun.

I am pretty new here. But I spend a lot of time on a jeep forum and some people make a big deal of post count I don't think post count means any thing but that you like to talk a lot. I tend to like to ask a lot of questions and chat a lot so I hope nobody gets to mad if I start asking dumb questions or rambaling.

It seems like the yeses should be nos based on the question "were we too tough on Chad".

Example...

were we too tough on chad?

should be YES (we were too tough) he meant no harm.... not NO he meant no harm.

Like a lot of threads, it took on a life of its own and no ill will was intended towards anyone in the forum. A lot of us like to have fun and jump at the chance.
As for these post count numbers.............I doubt many really care about them. I dunno, they seem to be valueless. Although I'd trade all of mine for a nice triple lock target 44 right away.

Yep, kind of odd huh? Twisted polls are like that aren't they? Which is why polls mean nuten.

I wanted to edit the questions and add that we all want ChadW back and we meant no harm but..Hay Chad, we love ya man, your always welcome here, no harm from us. Just a bunch of guys and gals poken fun. I've had my share when I've posted something dumb while tippsy.

Hold on just a minute here. Joni, are you saying we can trade our post counts for Triple Locks? Just like green stamps or Marlboro packs? Sounds good to me.

If I could do that trade I'd have it completed by now and be drooling over my very own triple lock target 44.
Not to change the subject once again but I noticed the WV Cabela's has eight (8) Colt Shooting Master revolvers in stock, all in good looking condition and all chambered for 38 Special. I think there was another in 45 Colt. If there had been one in 44 Special I'd have it already.

I think it's great that some of the members take the time to welcome new members. To assume that a member is doing so with the post count being the motivation is presumptious, if not down right rude. I think he got off light.

Everybody that has been here a while has been blown off for one thing or another. Time to put on the big boy pants and suck it up.

My vote:

No you weren't too rough.. actually I don't think you were at all rough or mean spirited.

Most everyone on this forum is very nice and polite, so I know it was all in good fun. I was away for the weekend and absolutely shocked to see the beast I created!

Anyway.. thanks for all the replies!
