We have a LL as there is no cell service up here. My wife has a cell phone that she leaves in her car, I do not own one.
We also have a rotary on my desk for emergencies as all our other phones (Cordless) need electricity to work. Rotary still works well but takes a extra few seconds to dial out.
We do have a portable generator but I run it on and off, and if it’s off the rotary still rings and we can dial out without generator. Hey it works for us!![]()
There are probably youngsters that have no idea what a rotary phone is, not even knowing how to use one.
But I sure do, here is my phone that sits on my computer desk. when this baby rings it rings. Picked up about 4-5 years ago at the Flea Market for $5.00, mint condition, just brought it home and plugged it in.
