Proud to be a member of the majority for once...Truman was elected president when I was born, coming up on '64 this next year. Been retired three years this coming April, I highly recommend it, plan for it and keep yourself busy.

I'm in the 22-31 crowd, so I'm a young wipper-snapper. :D

This poll does explain why I like it here, I don't have a lot in common with my generation. Don't have Facebook, a smartphone, a video game system .................

me neither....no FB,just a plain old dumb phone and Verizon keeps textn me to upgrade to a free smart phone....don't need one.......but a video game system....you bet....that Atari still works and I almost got it figured out how to get that chicken across the road:D

I turned 60 on sept 30 this year. Was raised up as a Military Dependent, was in the Army twice myself, only 5 years service total. So I have traveled a lot in my life, seen a lot too.I am still in "decent" health, the Wife and I are "Semi-Retiring" next year, we plan to shoot & travel quite a bit while we can. We don't have much money, but we like to pay our own way. A wise friend of mine, said stay active & don't get lazy! I hope I can follow his advise.Regards Ernie

i will turn 60 next month still diving in hard current at bridge out last all those young dudes and catch more lobster makes me feel good but im tired at end of trip but i dont let anybody know that

Used to have a by line of "old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway"

Had to switch that to " young enough to remember what I used to do when young enough to do it anyway"

Now it takes me several times out the door, before I remember everything I was going out the door to do.

And yes I still have a land line with a working rotary phone.

May have been more informative if there had been 4 more categories.

62 to 71 years old
72 to 81 years old
82 to 91 years old
92 or more years old

I would be in the over 62 and under 71 group.

All Gave Some and Some Gave All.

:) We have a LL as there is no cell service up here. My wife has a cell phone that she leaves in her car, I do not own one.

We also have a rotary on my desk for emergencies as all our other phones (Cordless) need electricity to work. Rotary still works well but takes a extra few seconds to dial out.

We do have a portable generator but I run it on and off, and if it’s off the rotary still rings and we can dial out without generator. Hey it works for us!:D
