I was at the local gunmonger's and saw a 22a in the used case. It was used but not abused. It even had all the papers, case, unopened envelopes containing extra recoil buffers and spent shell casing. It has a slight mark on the scope rail from where a red dot sight might have been attached. It shoots really well. I attached a BSA PMRS red dot sight. I wish I could afford a model 41 but this will do for now. Shot about 200 rounds of CCI 40 gr with one FTF. This little thing is really fun to shoot. I may have to try different brands of ammo.

Good for you! I have one set up just the same as yours. I really like shooting it. You won't miss the 41. For me, the 22A is easier to shoot than my 41. Not as pretty but easier to shoot.

A year or so back, I bought a S&W 22A-1 in their camo finish and love it. I have several thousand rounds through it now with only failures during the break-in period. I originally put a cheap 42mm red dot on it but, have since remove this in favor of the adjustable factory sights.

Looks like a fun pistol. If you're are enjoying it that's the only thing that counts.

That's a nice looking 22A! How do you like that RDS? I have been tempted to try one myself on a NEOS but just haven't got around to it yet.

Thanks. It works really well. I got a BSA PMRS multi reticle red dot. The open sights in the 22a leaves a lot to be desired. It's also good for those of us who don't have good eyesight.
