Back in November of 2013, I managed to finally achieve a small portion of my collecting goals, namely, a set of blued K-Frame M&P 4” revolvers in the most commonly available calibers (.22, .32 S&W L, .32-20, .38S&W, .38 Spl., 9mm, and .357 Magnum) https://smith-wessonforum.com/threads/poor-mans-collection-the-m-p-family.342669/ . Well, of course that started me down a tangent to another deep rabbit hole; acquiring blued 4” Model # K-frame models from 10 to 19. Fast forward almost 12 years, and finally, success! – or as I like to think of it, “Smith and Wesson: From Middle School through High School”. I never thought I’d have the patience or opportunity (or funds) to get there…… Where possible, I tried to go for versions which were produced in lesser quantity. I shudder to think where I’ll go next – I guess maybe my next goal should be blue K-Frame 4” adjustable sight guns to finish that branch ( Model 48’s and 53’s are not inexpensive), but who knows?
