Here Daisy(after My Mom) My rescue dog. She's corgi and Australian Cattle Dog. She goes everywhere with Me, including hunting, and fishing. Jumps right in the canoe, doesn't chase anything but squirrels, and doesn't care about the temperature either. Sometimes I have to share My sleeping bag and She keeps Me warm.
Pretty girl. I see the Cattle Dog in her head/face/muzzle, and the Corgi in her coloring. With that combination of two different breeds of herding dog in her, I bet she's a lot of fun.
A photograph and some thoughts I wrote down a bit over five years ago, when I first got Beau at seven weeks of age. It's self-explanatory. It's ironically appropriate, though, and I never noticed it until after I'd made the photo. Part of the newspaper he's sleeping on is advertising a "Grand Opening". For little Beau, it was his own personal Grand Opening into his new life.
Gorgeous dogs! And how can anyone not love a dog named Milo! And Layla, doing one of the things dogs do best...having fun. What a joy they must be to you.
My beer buddy BabyGirl. Good in the woods, only fair in the water. Yorkie / Poodle mix she changed my mind on small dogs, not a yapper or a snapper just a good natured, dopey dog who never needed a leash around the homefront.
Not for lack of trying she's never caught a squirrel but has performed the terrier shake on many an iguana. Cats flee and she's convinced larger dogs to take their business elsewhere... good thing most dogs understand territorial issues because her heart is bigger than her brain.
12 lbs. of love, she most likely won't make her 14th year, heart problems have slowed her down but her appetite for food, love and life, along with her big smiles has not diminished.
Chloe is our 3 1/2 y.o. Australian Shepherd. My wife's dog really. (Any animal that comes in contact with my wife quickly becomes enthralled to her. It's one of the "powers" my wife has). Chloe is a wonderful dog. Intelligent, obedient, active, trainable, affectionate, she has it all. Will play fetch until she wears YOU out. Cleanest dog I've ever been around. Grooms and licks herself like a cat. Don't know if that's normal to the breed, of just something she does. (She'll still roll in the occasional dead squirrel, though).
Sit!......
Lay!....
Chloe as a puppy. About 8 weeks, I think....
Even as a puppy she was a very serene. Not nervous at all.
