PPK in .22lr.

I looked at one of the Bersa's the other day. They are admittedly inexpensive but even at that I can't say I was very impressed with the fit and finish. I'd have to pass on the Bersa, but would buy a true PPK in .22

I would prefer to see the TPH make a come back. Don't choke up on the grip or she bites you back though. I love them and keep missing out when I find a good deal for being broke at the time.

I like the CZ Kadet in 22lr.

I have the;

S&W master piece revolver 6'' barrel 22lr
H&R 922 6" revolver in 22lr
Taurus 94 revolver in 22lr
Ruger MkI 22lr semi auto
Ruger MkII 22lr semi auto

I'd like to collect more too.

I wish someone would offer a change over kit for a tokarev pistol to make it 22cal. They could offset the centerline of the bore for the rim fire. I'm not too fond of the 1911's in 22cal.

I gots the 22cal disease when my first grandson was born. I been buying him all the turn of the century 22cal rifles.

I agree I have looked at GunBroker and just to much $$
would get a new one though

I got a German made, pre 68 Walther PPK in 22LR in the late 80's. It had been reblued and immediately, the safety lever broke off. It took a year to get one from InterArms (then the Walther US dist). I also ordered an extra mag as it only came with 1.

The accuracy of the PPK 22 rivaled my K22! I had what I thought was the ultimate kit gun, plinker and shot it as much as I did my K-22. It camped, fished and hiked with me for many years and was carried as a bug a few times.

A family emergency forced me to part with it in 1997 and I'll regret it to my grave.

It was the only PPK 22 I've ever seen. I've seen a few PP 22's and some rare long barrel target PPK 22's with adj sights though.

I picked up this 22LR PPK several years ago at a gun show. It has been customized with a S&W adjustable sight, a widened trigger & Nill Grif grips. Shoots like a dream!

I bought a new PPK/s around 1970. It was never reliable no matter what I shot out of it. I finally sold it, but being a real James Bond fan (Sean Connery) I always regretted offloading it.

I would like to see a 22lr/22l/22s conversion kit for the tokarev pistol. Or a barrel insert for the CZ82 offset for the rimfire.

I'm glad I'm not alone. The old ones are expensive and collectible. I want a new one so I don't feel bad about using it.

Don't regret it too much. You can always get the original Bond gun that Bond himself preferred in both the books, and the first Bond movie (with Connery), Dr. No.

Bond preferred the Beretta model 418, with no grips. However, I'd prefer the PPK, shaken not stirred.

Simpson ltd

Hi Folks,
There are a ton of them at Simpson ltd.
There looks like some pretty good deals there to me.
I have no interest in Simpson, but was looking for a PP and thought I share the info with you.
Good luck.
Mike
