PPK/s .22lr Range Report

I bought this little pistol a few years ago. It's the current production model, not the now expensive ones made in West Germany BITD.

It is a nickel finish. Good looking gun with the black plastic grips.

Double action was super heavy, and I didn't try it more than once. Single action was Ok. Sights are small and hard to see. I'll paint the front one orange or white. I think that reflects in my shooting. A 3 dot sight setup would be appreciated.

That said. it's a plinker IMHO, and it worked fine. 25 rounds of RWS at 25 feet indoors. No FTF/FTE issues at all.

So you can play James Bond with martini tastes on a beer budget.

Is this one of those with the threaded barrel? If it is, I might have to get a suppressor.

I have the older Interarms PP 22 lr version. Wasn't too expensive, but I've had it for a while. I agree, these sure are fun to shoot when you don't have to deal with hammer bite and losing 380 brass.

I thought dependability might be an issue but standard and high velocity work fine. Pretty sure I stick with round nose.

I have one of these in the black finish. Nice little plinker and makes a good understudy to my .32 and .380 PP Series pistols. Mine likes high velocity ammo. It actually loves cheap old Thunderbolts.

Yes, the barrel is threaded, but you will need a thread adapter. They are readily available and cost around $20.

Yes

You have to buy a 10MM to 1/2-28 adapter but they work great.

I have an older PP and PPk/s both in 22LR and I was going to get them ghost threaded for a can.

The new PPk/s was about the same price as modifying one of my older guns, so I bought a nickel one to match the 1st suppressor I ever built. It is still bare aluminium. I never cerrakoted it.

I have several thousnad rounds through it so far (all suppressed)

An the best part is that the new magazines are around $30+ while magazines for the older 22s are in the $125+ price range.
