My stainless PPK, made by S&W, had a mishap the other day on the range. The hammer jammed all the way back and has absolutely no movement. The slide functions, decocker moves but the action is frozen solid. Gunsmith shook his head and is still in meditation. Anyone seen this before? It is still under warrantee. VResp. R.E.T.

Your problem is not uncommon. In fact, it's pretty prevalent. Go to the Walther Forum and look in the PP - PPK section. There are quite a few threads on this topic.
