John has already been through a lot and he is getting into crunch time. His spirits are high and he is very upbeat. Fortunately he has quite the support group surrounding him. Prayers and a few kind words will go far right now.
This is the update that Fred and I received from John's sister today;
"John saw his doctor yesterday, had final labs and a Covid test, and he has been cleared to go ahead with the transplant. So this Wednesday, he will be taken to UC to start chemotherapy, then be admitted to the hospital."
"The doctor told John he is in good shape going in, so this is a great step forward toward his getting better. Keep your thoughts with him as the six days of chemo are going to be grueling for him. Transplant Day still on schedule for Tuesday, October 25."
TIA
