Prayer request

Matthew, from reading all of your posts I've come to know you as one tough kid! Your strength of faith, family and character will help you through this. Of course you will be in my thoughts and prayers my friend.

That is some tough news! I hate caner!! My mother and my wifes mother and sister are the three best women I ever knew and cancer took all three of them.

But try to keep a positive thought. Attitude is very important and will make a big difference in your experience. Also take comfort in the fact that you have many friends in here and care about you and will fill God's inbox with many prayers for the success of your treatment and the peace of mind for you and your family. Don't ever underestimate the power of prayer. Have faith and keep your hopes up. And don't be shy about leaning on your friends for moral support.

My prayers will be right in there with all the others. My wife and I have both had cancer scares. Her tumor was not cancerous but until we found out we were in a very dark place. In May of 2012 I had part of my thyroid removed and the found a "microscopic papillary cancer". I never new I had it it was so small it didn't turn up in the biopsy. But it was removed in tact and I required no chemo or radiation.

Still I had the sobering experience of having my doctor tell me I'd had cancer.

Good luck to you and I hope you will keep us posted on your progress. We'll all be pulling for you that's for sure!

Hang in there. I am a survivor myself. I lost my nose but they built me a new one.
