Prayer request

Matthew, I personally know of 3 men who were in advanced stages of various forms of cancer. ALL are alive and very well today, none have any traces of the disease. The treatment methods today are nothing short of miraculous.
Hang in there, many are praying for your full healing.

Matthew, you know all us members are with you with prayers and positive thoughts.

Time will take care of that problem and you will be back to normal before you know it.

Hang in there tough guy, your pal;) labworm.

I got back from the cancer doctor a little while a go and the doctor gave me a run down of my cancer treatment and the possible side effects of my treatment and i am scared to death.

Please continue to pray for me and my family I wish i could just snap my fingers and have this whole awful mess behind me but i can't do that.

I Know it sounds trite, but try & be as positive as you can be. I know this is easy advice to give & believe me, I'm one of the worst about letting bad stuff get a hold on me. But I really believe a positive outlook can really help. More prayers sent for you & yours.

I have read many of your posts, mg, and feel like you're an old acquaintance. Along with my prayers I would like to offer a suggestion that you might find helpful.

A book by Max Lucado called" Fearless" is very uplifting. Chapter 6 was awesome and may refill your courage tank.

We're all here for you as best as we can be. God bless and keep, mg.

Prayers are sent on the way.
I am recovering from surgery for stomach/esophagus cancer this time and went through chemo/ radiation since 3 March 2013.
It is not easy buy any means and a big bump in the road.
Being a different challenge than I have ever encountered before.
From the start I thought if the Lord didn't want me here I would not have had any warning and would have gone in short order.
God put all these experts here to help us and they do amazing things today. Just being here to request the prayers is a blessing. We must have a job to do for our Father or we would be back with him at this time.
I pray we find out what our job is before returning to where we came from.
I have met a lot of wonderful folks in the short time we have been going through the treatments and am sure many more are in the future too.

On my 38th birthday in 1991, I had the first of three operations for vocal cord cancer. I had a large tumor wrapped around my right vocal cord and penetrating it, and my doctor thought it was metasticizing...my prognosis at the time was not good.

Here it is 2013...celebrated my 60th birthday back in March and I feel fine. My voice is raspy much of the time -- I lost part of my right vocal cord -- and I have a very limited range, but I am here, and I plan to be here for a few years more.

You'll be fine. Hang in there, do what you doctor tells you, and trust the Good Lord to see you through this.

We'll all be praying for you...good luck! :-)

MG357, prayers will be sent for your recovery and for your family in helping you through it.
