A member of our church is on her way to Washington (St-DC?) to collect her grandchildren. her daughter was killed by her boy friend and he is in custody.

May god somehow help her find comfort. I can't say I'd be following Christian values in this situation. I sincerely hope the perpetrator fries. I pray the Good Lord helps the children to somehow cope.

Prayers sent hopefully the children didn't see it. Just had similar situation happen to one of our church persons, her son beat his GF and she latter died, he's in jail now. She's beside herself that her son took a life, at least she didn't make excuses for him and feels he will get what's coming to him. I don't understand how some people will stay in these type of situations, I guess they figure they have no place else to go.

This is some hard ground for her and grandchildren to have to plow. May God bless them and keep them in his grace and peace as the place their faith and trust in Him.
