Pre-ban 20 rd mags

Anyone know where I could find pre-ban 20 rd mags?

First, Welcome to the forum. Second, why pre-ban 20 rounders? To my knowledge, a metal 20 round magazine is a metal 20 round magazine.

I live in Mass, so anything over 10 rd. has to be pre=ban here.

Ah, now I understand. Those laws suck for you guys. I'd venture to guess if any are around, someone has them stored in a closet. You might post a "want to buy" in the classifieds. I'm not exactly sure how you would identify them, but with the brain trust we have here, someone will help you out.

They can be found on Gun broker and at the AR 15 forum. There are a few here and there. Just sold mine as ordered by Andrew Cuomo.

Just out of curiosity and I dont mean to divert your hunt but how does one identify a preban magazine? They dont have a serial number and as long as its not a pmag gen 3 how would they know?

The majority of mine have the date manufactured stamped into the body. The only ones that don't are pre-1994. That would make them pre-assault weapon ban of 1994.
