Pre-model guns seem to bring a premium, it would seem.

A sale price of $1500-1800 would not surprise me in the least.

To paraphrase whoever first said it, "They ain't making them anymore." :D

We all know a gun is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. (Not trying to be a smart aleck here.) One could ask, "How badly do YOU want it?"

Good luck, sir!

The gentleman also has a Model 34 Kit Gun with grips he is willing to let go for $600. I don’t shoot 22lr but if you guys think I should I get it I can off it to someone who will appreciate it..

Here she is the Smith and Wesson Model 34

The package deal includes stags, holster, speedloaders, ... and the price for everything is $700?

Wow! I would say you are getting the revolver itself for $400 - $500.

That's a great deal on any HP, let alone one that early.

That's a a great deal for an early HP. The grips are a real bonus! You could sell them pretty quickly here on the Forum. Patrick is a fine grip maker and to order new ones with the medallions would easily cost a couple hundred. I have two of his grips, along with three sets from Bigmntman. Yes, i like stags!

That 34 is a fair price as well.

all matching serial numbers….. I think I did pretty good for 7 bones. I believe this is original with everything matching. The barrel, the bottom of the grips and cylinder all have the same serial number

Im not really into 22lr.

I would jump on both those guns as hard as I could possibly jump !!! No question. The model 28 package is awesome. Love the grips on the 34.

I know its a pretty cool revolver but it just doesnt speak to me like this .357 Magnum does
