Anyone have any experience with these guys? I just bought 1000 rounds of 5.56 x 45 from them. Was told it was new manufacture, but turns out to be reloads.....and expensive reloads. Same price I can get Lake City, Winchester, etc.

Can't find any reviews online other than what the company posts. Anyone have any experience with these guys?

I know this is almost a month old but I just saw it today. I shoot alot of their ammo but in pistol rounds. Never had any problems with their 9mm, .380, .38, .357 and just bought a box of .45 today. One of my co-workers uses their .40 and loves it. Goes bang everytime and accuracy seems fine.

Precision One Ammunition- Jeff Oneal Thumbs down DO NOT BUY AMMO!!!

I will NEVER buy ammo from this company or individual ever again and will recommend anyone NOT to. This company was down in Greeville, SC for a gun show and first the price was high for a box of 250 .40 caliber ammo second they were put in a bag and given to me since I have small children at home didn't really get a chance to check out what was given to me after a week or so I checked the bag and was given 9mm ammo I called them right away & left a voice mail and although Jeff call me right away there was no conclusion. In that pass week I called numerous time and NO one returned my call. Finally today Wednesday 4/24/13 I got to speak with him and he claim there was no error in his part and ended up yelling and cursing me out for him giving me the wrong ammo.

This is the way this people do business and treat their
customers with rudeness, disrespect and dishonesty.

All I wanted was some kind of customer service courtesy and I even introduce the resolution that when at the gun show in a few months they can exchange but this man Jeff Oneal is some kind of hard ***.

DO NOT BUY AMMO FROM COMPANY OR JEFF ONEAL IF AN ERROR ACCORDS ON THEIR PART THEY WILL NOT OWN UP TO IT AND CLAIMED IT WAS YOUR FAULT. PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES LIKE THIS YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON. A PLACE AND PEOPLE LIKE THIS WILL NOT PROSPECT IN LIFE. LEARN TO EMBRACE YOUR CUSTOMER JEFF AND YOU'LL ALWAYS HAVE BUSINESS RULE #1 IN BUSINESS.

Dont know the guy or the company. Never heard of them. However, after a week i wouldn't take it back either. I get it mix ups happen and he shouldnt be yelling at customers but......in this case .....how is he to know what you did with the ammo in the mean time. Did you shoot it and attempt to reload yourself? Were they compromised at all? Did you decide that 9 wasn't for you, traded for a 40 and tried to get free replacement ammo?

I'm interested

I'm having trouble finding web info for Precision One Ammunition. Since I'm in Mt Pleasant every few weeks I thought I would check them out. 621 Antebellum Lane in Mt. Pleasant appears to be a house. It does say something about 'custom' ammo. Does he make it to order?? Contact info, please?

Don't shout, you guys!

Re: Wrong ammo.

I don't care who the seller might be. He sold the wrong ammunition. That is the bottom line. The buyer asked for and had every right to expect that what the seller sold to him was the correct ammunition. The error is entirely on the part of the seller. Excuses to the contrary are without merit.

Contact the seller and insist that he correct his error. At a absolute minimum he should exchange the ammo for the correct ammo. He should pay all shipping costs both ways. It is his error. If he complies, let the matter rest. If he refuses, facebook, etc. are excellent tools to use to hit him where it hurts... in his customer base. With the current level of prices on ammo, etc., sellers have no desire to loose business by having their reputation trashed because of their failure to appropriately deal with the legitimate expectations of customers that a purchase/order be filled as requested/ordered.

If the seller will not exchange the ammunition that he incorrectly sold, then if it was purchased on a credit card, the buyer should contact the credit card company and dispute the purchase. That is at least one way to put the monkey on the back of the seller and force him to deal with his error. If buying in a local where it will later be difficult to seek resolution of a potential problem, it is wise to use a credit card simply for the leverage it gives the buyer.

Over the years I have bought a lot of rifle ammunition on line, at gun shows and in gun shops. In those years I have had exactly one instance in which the wrong ammunition was shipped. That was a case of 1,000 rds. of Danish M-2 ball purchased online in I believe 2005. That company refused to allow a return, etc., etc., etc. The owner also acted like it was my fault that he/his employees made the mistake, etc., etc., etc. He also went ballistic with his mouth making threats up to and including legal action if I did not meekly comply with his demands to shut up and make the best of things. Perhaps that is how he got away with treating other customer complaints. In this instance, I simply forwarded copies of his e-mails, etc., to MasterCard. Amazingly he soon called and paid all return shipping, w/o restocking fees, without the wooden crate, etc. I was refunded all my money in full. This company was Ammoman. The owners name is Eric. If anyone wants to see the copies of correspondence, etc., I can probably find them.

Just another suggestion. If the seller refuses to exchange the ammo, wait till the next gun show. Then, set up outside w/ a poster listing the seller by name and stating that he is not to be trusted, etc. I used a similar approach to deal with a seller at a gun show who represented a K-98 as a all matching GI bringback. When examination after purchased demonstrated that the stock was not matching (numbers stamped inside the barrel channel, handguard, did not match rifle) he refused a refund. Simply standing near his table with the rifle and a sign stipulating the problem turned out to be very effective. He fully refunded the entire purchase price. His protest of not knowing were not persuasive. Try this method if other approaches yield no results. It will be at least one way to put pressure on him and at the same time inform any potential customers that he is not to be trusted. There are to many good companies/sellers. People like this need to be identified and forced either to be honest with customers or else find some other way to make a living. I hope this situation resolves to your satisfaction. Sincerely. brucev.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who understands there are more than one side of the story. I am sorry that this issue is starting to get out of control, but I want to rectify it before it spins more out of control.

I am the owner of Precision ONe Ammunition. I wanted to address this in a short manner for clarification. The gentleman came to our table and bought 9mm ammo. He specifically asked for it. We do not just put ammo in a bag. We always ask when someone requests a caliber, what type...fmj, hp, self defense, new, remanufactured...etc. then how many...50 rds, 250 rd mega paks, 500 rd bunkers, etc. I believe he purchased a mega pak.
If someone says " I need ammo for my gun" we start with the the caliber of the firearm. We try and 'hand walk' through the process if need be.

When the individual called and demanded an exchange and immediately blamed us for selling him the wrong ammo, we advised him there are no returns on ammo unless it is a manufactures defect. He was very rude from the beginning and he could not make a mistake. If it was our mistake, we would taken care of it. We may have even given a box of the correct caliber at cost to ease the problem. But this guy wanted this specific caliber ( how are we supposed to know what gun he has). He kept interrupting every time we tried to talk and threatened to stalk and harass us for a mistake he made.

We guarantee our products and stand behind them. If a return is made with my products or someone else's ....like wallmarts...we ..or they...can not guarantee the item has not been tampered with, gotten wet, etc. it is for the safety of the buyer that the product is a safe and working product. I would not want to put my life at risk, and I would not put yours.

Thanks for the time and understanding.

How very sad things have gotten... demand congress investigate why .gov got away with creating an ammo shortage... at least the GAO is finally looking into the matter.

It is very SAD on Jeff Oneil!!! YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG!

Brass Nugget- It is very SAD on Jeff Part and BruceV you not need to apologized because you hit it right on the head remember when you had your issue, this scenario went exactly the same way I called Jeff Oneill and spoke with him kindly and then left 2 other friendly voice mails and no resolution, claimed no error on his part than got angry at me and started with profanity when I was persistent with an exchange.

Jef Oneil " AKA P-1" You're right a story does always have 2 sides but not when you're disrespectful and try to hide behind the law. You're not only a CROOK but a LIAR as well and like to play the victim, you went to your local police officer and had the cops called me claiming I had threatened you and was stalking and harassing you (I'm in Greenville, SC and you're in Mt Pleasant or where ever you are) didn't know a few phone calls to someone that sold you wrong merchandise was a crime specially when you the customer have been done wrong. Now, what I claimed to you was the same exact suggestion BruceV stated which was I should set up a stand at the next gun show with a sign and tell people what you're really all about. And, I only interrupted you because you kept pausing and I thought you were done talking but then you got all angry and started calling me an idiot and a dumb *** the lady that pick up the phone heard you but I'm sure with the attitude you carry yourself she's probably to scare of you to correct you or go against you. Be a man about it and admit it you were the disrespectful one because you didn't like me being persistent at trying to get an exchange when at the next gun show. I was not asking for FREE SHIPPING RETURN OR REFUND, JUST A SIMPLE EXCHANGE WHEN DOWN IN GREENVILLE, SC. I am a man and I do admit to my mistakes by not checking the bag which you gave me the incorrect merchandise and by thinking that you be a good business man about it and we could have talk and fix this issue like men but you and I know and the ALL Mighty LORD knows what truly happen, you know you were and are wrong. Again I'm NOT PERFECT but I do know what kind of guns I have and have never own a 9mm I only have 45's and on that day just a few desks away from you I bought a new XDM 40 caliber which I asked you ammo for the bullets which I did not pick a box and also asked for a receipt which you wrote on a business card and place it in the same bag and yes I do know better and should have place it on my VISA or Amex and could have let my credit company fix this issue for me and would have been hassle free.

The bottom line is, if you did this to me you've done it to some else and will continue to do it, you mistreated your customers. You shouldn't be doing business. THE $100 I SPENT ON THESE BULLETS ARE NOTHING TO ME I MAKE IT IN AN HOUR'S WORTH OF WORK, ENJOY IT. BUT YOU WILL NOT GET BUSINESS FROM ME OR MY FRIENDS AND EVERY CHANCE I GET I WILL LET PEOPLE KNOW HOW YOU OPERATE AND HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE. DON'T PLAY A VICTIM WITH YOUR LOCAL POLICE, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET A RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST ME BECAUSE YOU'RE A CROOK AND A LIAR WHO HIDES BEHIND THE LAW AND WON'T BE ABLE TO PROVE ANYTHING YOUR SAYING BECAUSE IT AIN'T TRUE. THE 2 VOICE MAILS I LEFT YOU WERE FRIENDLY YOU CLAIMED 3 CALLS TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE IS HARASSMENT. LOL I ALSO HAVE A BUSINESS AND I'M A PEOPLE PERSON AND TREAT MY CLIENTS LIKE GOLD BECAUSE THAT'S HOW I FEED MY KIDS. REMEMBER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN A BUSINESS YOU NEED TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS RIGHT. WE BOTH KNOW THE REAL DEAL & YOU CAN ACT LIKE THE VICTIM WHEN IN FACT IT'S YOU WHOM VICTIMIZE PEOPLE.

ENOUGH SAID PEOPLE- ARM-L!!!

sounds to me like a problem which should have been addressed by the company. its really not clear who made the mistake. we have all dealt with companies who would never admit they made an error. police involvement on a customer dispute? sounds like precision one is a good company to steer clear of.

I put 50 rounds through my HK USP 9mm. Every 4th or 5th round failed to cycle properly. I will never use buy it again. I haven't tried it in any other type of pistol or tried any other caliber.

Spg1,

If you have any issues with our products, please give us a call and we will make it right. We have not had any known issues in a long time (years) and would like to see what you may be having. It seems to me it may be your mag or chamber. Is your gun brand new? The problem is too consistent for an ammo issue. Ammo would be sporadic and not every 4th or 5th round. May be feeding wrong by the mag and the compression of the spring and the mag follower.

If I am wrong, please contact us so that we may fix the problem and get you squared away.

Jeff

Precision One Ammo

Precision One Ammo Thumbs Down! I purchased some Ammo from Precision One Ammo on Gun Broker and I have yet to receive my Ammo. This guy Jeff ONeil from Precision One Ammo is a CLOWN Jeff cashed my check and then files a dispute stating he never received payment. If anyone wishes to see copies of the cashed and cleared payment I can provide copies. All in all Jeff is very unprofessional.
No Ammo / No Tracking Information. I wish I had read Precision One Reviews prior to purchasing ammo from this company. I filed a dispute with Gun Broker regarding his non payment claim and will be contacting the BBB regarding Precision One Ammo. This Company Has Failed To Send My Ammo and has Failed to Meet My Expectations. If you read all the Negative Reviews on the Forum and read the BBB Complaints on Precision One Ammo. The proof is already out there.
I honestly have not had a Good Experience with Precision One Ammo and I hope others don't have to go through the same B.S. Words to the wise your better off buying ammo from a legit company that has better customer service and is willing to stand behind their products. Jeff does not understand the meaning of Customer Service. I will be filing a Fraud report with Gun Broker over not receiving my ammo.

Well......since this thread garnered so very few posts when I first started it, I kinda forgot all about it. Purchased 1000 rounds at a price that was then comparable (actually a hair more) to what genuine Lake City was at the time.

At first we paid for the ammunition and waited....and waited....and waited......then came word that their machine that loads 5.56 x 45 was broken......then they were waiting on primers......then powder. It almost got to the point it was comical. We (myself and the other deputies that pooled our money) started to joke about it almost daily. We started calling it "vapor ammo" after vaporware. We FINALLY got the ammunition. It became apparent we had been sold reloads. Not going to blame the company, I should have been more vigilant and verified they were nto reloads, but what the heck.

When we finally got the ammunition we were all a little surprised. To say the projectile is seated a LITTLE HIGH is an understatement. You can actually see all of the cannelure. I think the projectile is crimped BELOW the cannelure. Several of the guys had problems with the rounds feeding and chambering. A couple of jams as well. Brass was clean and shiney, they definitely tumbled it.

Overall, I would not purchase from them again. The entire deal was shady to say the least, and in the end it was not a quality product. I was a little thrown off when the ammo arrived in boxes originally printed for pistol ammo, but with the pistol labels covered with stickers. Just not really a savvy packaging deal going on. I don't know what I'm going to do with what I have left over. I can't really shoot it, and I won't sell it to anyone. Even if they offered to replace it, I'm not sure what it will get replaced with will be a quality product.

I have visited their website a few times in the interim, but sometimes it is up and functioning and other times it isn't available. Kinda gives it a "fly-by-night" company reputation.

My advice, given my experience, would be to stay away from them.

This is a followup to my first post on Percision One 9 mm. In my first post I should have stated the problem I encountered more clearly. What I actually meant was that about 20 to 25% of the rounds from the first box failed to cycle properly. All of the rounds fired but about 20 to 25% failed to fully eject. The problem was sporadic. One magazine might only have one or two failures while the next might have three.

I finally made it back to the range. I had purchased two boxes of Precision One 9 mm from the same store on the same day and I had used one of the boxes on my first trip to the range. Today I took the second box of Precision One, and also boxes of Fiocchi, Fedral, and PMC to try in my HK USP 9 mm.

I again encountered the failure to eject fully problem with the Precision One with about 20% of the rounds. Unfortunately I didn't keep a precise round count.

What about the other brands?
Federal: No problems.
Fiocchi: No problems.
PMC: No problems.

Since I didn't encounter any problems with the Federal, Fiocchi, and PMC I don't think the problem is limp wristing.

Maybe I got two boxes of Precision One from a bad batch. Maybe Precision One doesn't work well in my HK USP 9 mm. It is a pistol with a low round count, maybe that makes a difference. After 2000 or 3000 rounds maybe it would work. I don't have a definite explanation for the problem I encountered.

I have not tried any other calibers of ammo from Precision One and I have only fired it in my HK. Maybe it would work in some other brand of pistol.
