Health care, health insurance and Pharma is big money as is advertisement industry

And those multi-million dollar ads raise the cost of the drug->raises the selling price of the drug->raises the cost for drug insurance-> raises costs you and I pay for insurance->or raises the cost to Medicare/Medicaid->which we taxpayers pay more for or else get less benefit-> and none of us can get the drug w/o doctor say so. As far as I'm concerned, Big Pharma is yelling into an empty room and charging us for it without our having any say so.

The reason for "DTC" ads is that drug companies cannot control the message given by reps like myself. I sold Premarin and promised better sex, Effexor in low doses for hot flashes, Niaspan to prevent heart attack and stroke and on and on. Why pay me 6 figures to buy lunch and promise miracles when the TV says exactly what the script says. Joe.

They all sound the same to me, "Give us your money, yoou old goat before you kick off, your doctor has mistreeses and vacation homes to keep up. You are as good as dead anyway, give your money to someone who maqatters befire you die,
