Hello all,
This is a lgs find, pretty scruffy in display case, cleaned up pretty well! Ser#95161, was hoping for '54 but nearest I can figure maybe '56. Grips match. Shoots well. Jumps right near the top of my favorites list!:D

I absolutely have to sit down and learn photo sending etc!

Easier to tell you here then to start a new thread. If you upload your pictures into an album on your Forum home page you can copy the IMG - the image URL - and just paste it into the thread, like this - and you don't see the URL, you see the image:

Someone taught me that just last year and it makes life so much easier.

WOW---THAT'S A BEAUTY ! ! ! I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IT CLEANED UP VERY WELL, INDEED. CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT FIND......

Welcome aboard from Wyoming, billyr!

Wow, I can breathe, now, but that gorgeous little nickel Chiefs took my breath away.

Mine is a '54 with four screws and smooth rosewood stocks. I'd be elated to find a 3-screw like yours to go along with mine.

Thanks for the comps!

I did get lucky with this one. It's almost like holding "a handful of shine". The best part of the story is the same owner had also sold a 4" nickel '19, also in damn fine condition. It was right next to the little one in the display case. With other eyes watching, I had to act fast. I picked both up at the same time and handed them to the store owner followed by "I'll take em both". He was almost as happy as I was!
Hard to buy two guns in this state (have to wait 30 days in-between) but how often does the sun shine this bright on someone! The Model 19 also cleaned up very nicely so a future post is in order.

beautiful guns! I just got a nickel model 29-2 4in it is beautiful. for a long time I didn't know if I hatted them or loved them? but I think I am on the high end of liking them a lot more,,,,,,,,,,
