Pretty little holster but no gun to fit.

Considering some of the reasons people have for buying a gun...I'd say yours is one of the most wholesome. Sorry, but my news comes up from St. Louis.:(

I rarely watch any news on TV even though I'm 40 miles from St. Louis I just can't take the 24/7 drama news cycle.
When I retired 6 years ago I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't cross the Missouri river into St. Louis county unless I needed something from Cabela's and I haven't broken that promise...:)

Andy I'm anxious to see that 1903 fitting properly in that gorgeous
holster. Hope it all works out for you.
By the way, I have had to go shopping for guns to fit in holsters
I bought. And more than just once.

I'll post up some photos after I get the 1903 I'm in the process of exchanging info with the member here I bought it from.
Honestly this the first time I've purchased in reverse order of holster first gun second....:o

I'm not much of a Colt guy but I'll just have to suck it up and start looking for a 1903 or 1908 model.

I rebuilt this 1908 380 rusted up barn find a few years ago, nightmare to work on, but one of the best shooting handguns I own.

Put one of these together and you'll know what a genius John Browning was.

I cross the Clark Bridge to get gas and fireworks, and to fish, but that's about it. I haven't been to the Katy Trail all year and I love riding there.

I only live about 1 1/2 miles from the Mississippi river no bridges to cross to go fishing and for me and that's pretty often (river permitting).
The few times I've went to Alton it was easier and shorter for me to use a ferry into Calhoun county and again at brussels on the Illinois river to get there.
It's always amazed me how much cheaper gas is in Missouri vs Illinois.
I have fished in the area your talking about at the confluence but generally launch at Columbia bottoms on the Missouri river.
