CDNN is selling NIB 5906's with standard Novak sights and one 15rd mag. for $399.99.

Extra mags would cost $30 new, or $20 used.

Don't know about what adj. sights would cost you..

I DO know that my 5906 w/CT Lasergrips makes for a very nice home defense pistol..

I just paid $525 LNIB with adjustable sights for my 5906. I should have it this coming week.

I have been looking for a 5906 in my area without any luck. Recently a dealer told me he had a 5906 in like new condition. When I got to the store the gun turned out to be a 6906. Since it was like new, I bought it anyway. Paid $460.00 for it OTD. Expect to pay about the same for a 5906.

You didn't go wrong buying a 6906...

I bought a NIB 6906 from CDNN before buying the NIB 5906..

Add the "grip+2" S&W mag. extender and, should you care to, you can use the 15rd 5906 mags in the 6906 and they will work perfectly, and look original..

Plus most S&W fans agree the 3913 is one of the best compact 9mm pistols every manufactured, and for those desiring more rounds than can be stuffed in a single stack the double stack 6906 is the answer...

I agree with PX15. My first S&W was a 6906. I still have it, and I use it for a ccw gun.

I think it's a fine gun.

Mr.G, if you are still looking for that 5906, someone has one on the Glock talk forum for $375.00. That ain't a bad deal.
