Price check please

This morning I had the opportunity to purchase TWO Mod. 63's (stainless kit guns)- both no dash and in 95%+ condition at $599 each. Not being in the market for another .22 I passed.

After getting home I was rethinking the opportunity and was wishing I had picked up one. Is this a desireable model for trade? Is $599 a fair price? I won't be able to return to the source until next Friday, so I'll have time to mull over the input.

.22 LR revolvers are popular at present, but $599 is high by $100-150, even in today's market as described.

I've been looking for a 617 and happened to stumble across a 63 and was told it could go home with me for $400. I'm still vascilating on that one as I'd really like to find a 617 but may change my mind.
