I am trying to get an idea how much some grips I have may go for. I am contemplating taking them to a gun show next weekend. I do not trust ebay as I have had problems with them. I have pictures but can't seem to figure out how to put them on here. Two are for K frames. One pair are like those on the Texas Ranger commerative Model 19. There is also a pair for N frame similiar to those but a S&W medallion instead of the star medallion. The other cmae off a Model 66 DOB 1972. Any ideas on the value? Thanks.

go to the forum office and it will walk you through the process. if i figured it out you can to. i might be interested in the k frame grips. my e-mail is in my profile. don

If the grips you are talking about are S&W target grips then the price of the grips has completely to do with condition, color, and grain. In excellent condition with both sides matching in color and with decent grain they sell in k frame from to $45 to $100. The $45 dollar ones are for very plain un-interesting looking grips. The $100 pair has outstanding color with grain grain and in mint shape with screw. The N frame grips go for a higher price with mint ones going for $150 with outstanding color and grain. The low end is around $65.

Now older target grips with the diamond around the screw hole are much more expensive and on early cokes the price can blow your mind. I've seen several pairs of cokes sell for between $350 and $550 and one pair go for over $800. None Coke targets with the diamond sell for around $200 in excellent condition.

These prices come from auctions like Gunbroker and Ebay. I also so these prices at the Tulsa Gun Show a few months ago.

I just picked these outstanding k frame grips off of Ebay for $55 and were a great deal

These N frame grips cost me $75 and were a great deal

Once you have your image in Photobucket, scroll a little down under the picture until you get the "IMG" then highlight with a left click, and then right click and select "copy". Go to the S&W message page and right click and select "Paste".

OK! I have A easy share Kodak camera. So I use Kodak EasyShare to up load my pictures from my camera. When picture appears on EasyShare right click and window will pop up then click on [save as]and name picture. You could name it [grip or grip-1]just so you know what it is. You should also store picture on your computer, like on [desk top or a folder].You may not be using Kodak EasyShare but should be similar. It took me A while to figure it out you just have to hang in there. I have only had a computer for 5 months. Hope I explained this so you could understand. Maybe someone with more experience help out Don

If you've got the pics in photobucket hold your arrow on the pic you want to post. Another window should open under the pic and you move the arrow/hand down to IMG Code and left click. This will change the box with IMG http to blue and you right click on it. You should then see a box drop down with Copy in it, right click Copy. Now go back to the forum and to your Message box and right click in the box. This will show a box with Paste in it and you right click on Paste. Add your message and hit the post button. I hope this is correct and yes it takes some getting used to for a lot of us.
