I have noticed more dealers with primers in stock here in central Pa. Maybe not all brands and sizes but getting there. My only complaint is price, paid $29.00 a thousand for CCI 500's, egad's!

They are getting around 34.00 -39.00 per K here in Idaho. I bought a 1000 Friday for 34.89. Hated to do it but I am trying to replenish as I shoot. I have close to 8 K total of small and large pistol primers.

$29 for 1K is actually pretty good, compared to what the scalpers have been charging lately. Around here the going price has been $40 - $50 if you can find any.

$50+ where I live. That is if you can find them, and they are usually some off brand.

Here in SW Michigan, primers were bringing $29 a thousand before the shortage. So that price doesn't seem out of line.
Sort of like gas. Hated $2.00 a gallon, then after $4.00 a gallon, $2.00 sounds pretty appealing again.

Well I guess I'm just cheap! Was used to $21.00 a thousand up untill about three months ago. Prices ranged from 29.00 to 44.00 a thousand, shoulda mentioned that first! But at least they are showing up!

Schanz Supply in Otsego was charging ca $22/M for primers a year ago. Currently they charge $29.99/M when available with a 1000 primer limit. That's better than the scalpers who are attempting to get $40 or more per M - I'll shoot 22's before I pay those prices. I believe patience will be rewarded.

Here in Ohio bulk 22 LR has hit $20/500, or $40/1000. So even shooting 22's are not that much cheaper.

The only place that I have found with them in stock on the NE side of Atlanta has them for 45.00 a thousand. But, if that's all there is........

There are some Federal primers around here and they are priced @ $24.95/K. (NE PA small shops)
