I have a friend that lives in Sanford, Florida and he told me today rhat the shops there all have primers in stock, but no one wants to pay $39. per thousand.

I just got an order from Powder Valley. 5000 sp cci at 22.50 per K, 1000 federal smp at 25.50, and 4 lbs powder. The small primers held the order about 1 month. The panic is all about one group hoarding and others making money off their crazy buying.
I called Powder Valley a couple of days ago to place an order. They told me they COULD NOT hold items until the entire order was filled. They had 11,000 back orders and did not have the room to hold partial orders. They would ship my order as items became available. I started adding up the possible multiples of Haz Mat fees and did not place the order.
But, the lady on the phone was very patient and nice.

Nope. I don't think they ever have had reloading supplies. They certainly have a bunch of ammo, but I'm not really sure what. I reload all I can and don't pay much attention to the cases of ammo laying around.
The place is just starting to calm down. The other day, I actually had a salesman if he could help me. For the last 4-5 months, They were so crowded you had to throw $100 bills at them to get any service.

Yep. Saw that one and laughed. Every shop in my area has rifle primers (CCI, Federal and Winchester). $30 for a thousand. That buyer must be desperate, stupid or both...

My range has primers in stock at $38 for 1k, A guy came in while I was there and bought 20K of them, over half of what the shop had.
