I notice that online suppliers will charge a whole lot more for primers when/if they come back into stock.

Shoulda bought them! You could use them in the future OR just use them for trading! I just swapped 2k small for 2k large. In the old days I use to use more small than large but now it's just the opposite.

I know when this mess finally breaks, I hope to have enough souces lined up, that I can buy face to face and forget this on line pricing. Maybe by then the online sellers may offer some deals in bulk. Doubt it but quantity and price are the drivers along with availabiity. I wonder if the feds aren't going to throw some special taxes on this pretty soon and spoil everything.

I would expect prices to eventually drop some, however I truly doubt we'll ever see primers for $26 or $27 bucks a brick ever again. There will be shipping restrictions from state to state, higher hazmat fees, shipping fees, handling fees, maximum you will be allowed to order and on and on.

People buying every primer they see, whether needed or not, is why we are experiencing this current shortage. Greed, nothing else.
