So, I ordered three of the 32 round mags from Tactical Vantage and received everything quickly with great overall service.

Once I began to shoot my 15-22 I noticed one of the mags would slip out of the chamber just enough to cause an issue with the feeding of the ammo.

Long story short, I contacted Tactical Vantage and they were excellent to work with and asked me to send the mag back for a refund or exchange.

A couple of weeks had gone by and I received an email yesterday saying there may be an issue with the product and asked if I would be interested in another product or a refund... I asked if the problem was simply an inventory issue or something else. Their reply kind of shocked me. They said their supplier had contacted them about the 15-22 mag potentially being discontinued.

Basically, they're waiting on an official decision so I said I would wait on the official word before making any decisions on my end.

Has anyone else heard that this may happen? If so, I'm trying to figure out if it's due to the factory magazines becoming more available or the ban on high capacity mags in certain areas.

Yesterday I was on their website and noticed the 15-22 mags were no longer listed.

Wow, I ordered some almost a month ago, but didnt get them yet. I hope they come threw for me. The last ones I ordered, back in mid january took almost a month to get. You would think that if they have that many orders that they wouldnt quit making them.

Shame if true, they are really decent replacement mags if you can't find OEM ones.

Maybe there is more to the story that we are not aware of. Kinda strange to pull a product that has such a backlog of orders.

One would think... I looked at the actual Promag Industries site and it says something about holding all orders on that specific mag along the 10 round long mag as well.

It doesn't really add up to me. It's a great back-up product that has obviously sold well.

I received mine from Tactical Vantage a few weeks ago and I too saw they no longer list them. When I contacted them I received in reply that they were discontinued until further notice and no longer available. I saw them in another post on here and they were in stock last night so ck the forum "in stock magazines" and you can still get them. I believe it was from Impact somethin?

OEM is slowing them down. You can even look at the Broker and see that ProMag is very hard to sell versus the OEM.

Maybe it's a patent infringment thing. They do look a lot like OEM mags. Maybe they got sued by S&W.

It looks like I got lucky. Last Friday I bought a new 15-22 and the next day I came across 3 of the 32 round Promags at a local Academy Sports.

Wow. That also explains why 15-22 Promags I orded 3 months ago still haven't arrived. I would've cancelled a while ago, but haven't had the time to call.

I dont think that explains it because that complaint was filed April 4th, not 3 months ago.

After more reading I found a similar case against Plinker. Those still look like they are available. Will be interesting to see what happens and which are available going forward. I was kind of hoping someone would make a 15 or 20rd mag but it may have to be s&w.

It would be nice if S&W would allow them to continue making them, but maybe get a small royalty on each one sold. Especially since it is obvious that S&W can't come anywhere near keeping up with demand. Hopefully they can reach a licensing agreement.

Glad I picked up 3, for the guy who has his just fall out you can do an easy mod to fix that.
