Proper PC Magnas For My Model 58

Thanks to a timely heads up from SAFireman, I was able to snag these PC Magna grips from jimmyjoe who had them advertised in the Classified Section.

Now my Model 58 looks properly dressed!

For carrying duties, it wears these Kim Ahrends Tactical finger groove cordia wood grips.

Had the correct PC Magnas on my 58 when I bought it from Handejector , but they hurt my hand just holding it!


Wouldn't think about shooting it with them on.

Just had it out yesterday with these Siles on it. Much better even with full power loads.

I agree. Those Magna service grips are fine on a Model 10 chambered in .38 Special, but they're downright sadistic on a .41 Magnum.

If anyone has a pair (Magna stocks. I know what you were thinking) they would like to sell, shoot me a PM. I just purchased a Model 58 and it doesn't have to correct stocks. I probably won't shoot the gun with the Magna stocks, but I would like to have original factory stocks.

Great looking rig Steve....That leather really sets her off. I bet that the Ahrends stocks are a whole lot more comfortable to shoot the full house stuff with.

The 58 shoots great. I started at 25 yards and worked my way up to the 7 yard line with it. Shot both Winchester 175gr Silvertips and 240gr Platinum Tips. Both were comfortable to shoot with the Ahrends grips. I'm very happy with the revolver and am going to qualify with it and start carrying it.
