That bronze looks pretty darn good. I'm with you on the semi's. I have a safe full of them but I just seem to spend most of my time with my Target Masterpiece or 357 Black Hawk.

In fact, I just stumbled onto a Chief's Special. I cleaned it and am casting bullets for a little get acquainted time this weekend.

What is funny is your saying about lipstick. I went diving in the Caribbean and used "like putting lipstick on a pig" and the operators never forgot that. The next year I went back and they ribbed me about that saying.

I appreciate all the comments and the general courtesy toward this project offered up for your review. I realize this is not eveybody's cup of tea. I'm not sure it's mine either for that matter but it's a practical, functional pistol and I think it has a home here now.

Brought home a new-to-me Model 29-3 today - now that's a lot more interesting in my book!
